@Terry and BlackFox (and BlueFox):
I can certainly see how my comment was taken the way that it was. I really chose poor wording.
Quote: "Project Blue has had "nextlevel" since before RPGMod's creation. It STOLE it from Ply's Mod (which had the command since v1.05, and integrated with PB after v1.09)"
This statement was not to say that RPGMod stole the command from Ply's Mod. I was attempting to poke fun at myself by saying that PB stole the command from Ply's Mod (Since Ply's Mod was not recognized for having the command as well), but looking back at how I worded it, I suppose I shouldn't have included RPGMod in that sentence at all. I tried to say that PB stole the command from Ply's Mod, not RPGMod (since it was out before RPGMod was).
If I were truly accusing anyone of something, I certainly would not refer to them as an "it". And believe me, I would not be accusing their product of the stealing, I would accuse them. I know this all sounds like some long-winded excuse to get out of trouble, but it's the truth.
Although I see RPGMod as a fierce competitor to PB, it has never been my intention to bear ill-will towards its creators or affiliates. And I certainly would not accuse someone of stealing an idea as minute as that.
I am deeply sorry for how my comment came out and for any offense it has caused. I won't ask for your forgiveness because I know that it would take more than my simple words to earn forgiveness.
@Terry:
Quote: "You don't want the player to return and everything is set as if they started the level for the first time; which it will be if you don't save the positions and restore them after the level is rebuilt."
Thank you for pointing that out. I was aware that levels did, in fact, revert to their former states when revisited. However, I was also aware that many games did this intentionally, so that a player could re-play the level in mint condition with all pieces restored. Since variables are carried over between levels, if a developer desired to keep a level the way it was when the player left, they could script all entities to do so. I wanted to leave it up to the designer as to how this should act.
Though, for RPG games it is common for prior levels to stay exactly the way the player left them upon leaving, so I see it as a good thing that you went the route that you did. It saves the developer a lot of time than doing it the way it is designed in PB.
And I am aware that you are fully capable of making your own features. You are a very talented developer in your own right.
I'll cut it off here.... don't want to talk too much and make the same mistake twice.

That is your prerogative. Warning accepted. I'll be more careful with my wording in the future.

However, I have seeds of my own to tend to. I don't have time to be someone else's watering can.
