I am working on a video game, and i have started an environment. What commands would i use in darkbasic to instert it. And to get it from t.ed. Should i be using the export button. It gives it the .epr ending which wont load. Also, if it does insert the landscape, will it automatically move up hills and such, or not run through trees. Or will i have to set it so at a certain location it wont be able to go straight (this is for the tree scenario). Would it be impossible to make it that if it touches the terrain it stops (this would prevent it from running into things such as trees, and all i would have to do is place the character .00001 above the y plane.) I know this is a lot of questions, and any help is appreciated.

Edit: And if an administrator is reading this, and wants to delete it because i did have a different post in the newcomers forum. I created a second one because they were un related. If i am not supposed to have two different forum questions, u can delete the first one. I already solved that problem.

T.Ed can save 2 kinds of terrains. Objects, and heightmaps. Objects are loaded with Load Object as normal. Heightmaps + supertextures need to be loaded with a terrain plugin. Advanced terrains of part of DBP and is included. (I'd suggest using BlitzTerrains however)

Help on using terrain plugins can be found in the forums.

As for collisions, no, by default no collisions will be enabled. To set collisions up, you can either user the sucky built in collisions, or search for a collision plugin. (I recommend sparkys.)

Again, help and more information on this can be found by searching the forum.

When i was exporting from t.ed, it created an additional .x file.
Which refers to the objects.

When u say use a terrain plugin, i download a program called blitz terrains, and using that program my t.ed files will be accessible in darkbasic?

edit: Do you have the website for blitz terrains?
