i built a demo of a game i'm working on and to test if it worked on other peoples computers i gave it to a friend to test it.
he has windows x9 and good hardware. he tried playing it and it came up with 10 errors and never worked.
i know i haven't givin you much info, but is their anything you could suggest to get the game working?

make sure all files are in the folder and his directx is updated i had that problem before

Did you try to run it from a CD, that dosn't work

...some possible things to consider:

- what version of DirectX is he running?

- what RAM does he have on his machine?

- what video card does he have on his machine?

- was the game compiled with stock media, or custom?


If the minimum system specifications are not met on a machine, FPSC compiled
games will have little chance of running properly.

In most instances, sub-standard specifications usually are the culprit.

Feel free to post your game.exe here, so that it can be texted on known FPSC-
friendly systems.

Posting your .fpm file may also allow your level to be examined for editor errors.
Good strategy, if you used stock media...not such a good idea, if you used custom
media.
