hi,

i'm trying to figure out how vertex diffuse data (the kind you can access w DK GET VERTEX DIFFUSE from dkavm/dkshop) is stored. it doesn't seem to be an RGB value and i can't find any documentation on it. anyone know this off the top of their heads?

Vertex diffuse is stored as ARGB, so either the dk-commands don't work correctly (Dmitry can sometimes take a while to update them to the latest usage), or your mesh doesn't have a diffuse component and the function doesn't take that into account.

Finally, why not use the built-in commands, that do work correctly, even when there's no vertex colour (they return 0, not some random-looking number):
