If I instance or clone an object, is there an easy to get the original object's ID? Ex:

I am assuming that I need to manually track this stuff, but it would be nice to have such commands.

You can if you use my plug-ins - the functions are OBJECT INSTANCE OF() and OBJECT CLONE OF()
