Hello all,

It's been AGES since I lasted came on this forum, for reasons that I won't go into. About 2 weeks ago I decided I would attempt a full remake of the Nazi Zombie map Der Riese. I've spent most of my time up 'till now playing Der Riese and learning it inside out. Now i've finally come to designing and building the level.

So my proposition is, if you can think anything important that should be included/I should keep in mind/be aware of, let me know.

...knowing Der Riese inside and out, as you do, use your own thoughts and
preferences as a player.

Keep what you consider to be the best elements, and omit those things that
you don't care for, or serve little in enhancing gameplay.

You can remain as faithful to the original, or deviate and augment as much as
you wish. You are the creator of this version...you'll never be wrong in any
decision you make.

As long as you capture the look, feel, and overall atmosphere of the original,
your game will be well received by even the most die hard Der Reise veteran.

I'm trying to keep the original where possible, which means the scripting festival is coming to my PC soon

And to be quite honest, I think I may be the most die-hard Der Riese fan

Umm...

I imagine scripted weapons would be good for a Pack-A-Punch, but something like the wunderwaffe would be nigh-on impossible in FPSC...

To me, about 2-3 months is ages lol

Pack-A-Punch i've been pondering for a while now.

Yes, WunderWaffe would be almost impossible. I guess a re-texture of a grenade launcher would be a lousy pass-off (i'm kidding)

As I haven't had a reply to my thread on the Speed Cola machine, I decided to make my own Perk-O-Colas, which i'll share soon.

Pack-A-Punch might be possible if you made alternate versions of every weapon... Hm...
