I was creating simple multiplayer games i made with some friends, and we came to the conclusion that the guns Tavor and Commander (rifle's with a scope) did too much damage when scoped. It only takes one shot to kill someone else when one of those guns are scoped (player has 100 health). I tried changing how much damage it does to 1, but that did not change how much damage it did when scoped. I assume that to change the scope damage I would need to alter one or more of its files, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to do this.

Any help or constructive comments is greatly appreciated.

it may be in the gunspec, I can't check right now


Poloflece, not to be mistaken for polofleece, polar fleece or polar flece. But I like to go by Polo or PFG, SO GET USED TO IT!

It's hardcoded to instakill when scoped, to compensate for the lack of headshots in multiplayer.

Coffee Grunt thanks for the info, but what about single-player games? I still haven't found a way to decrease its scoped damage.

isn't there something in the new updates that allows you to change the zoom damage, aka zoomdamage? That would seem like a smart idea if it is not already included.

I tried entering in zoomdamage = 75 in the Tavor's gunspec.txt file, but when I tested it in a single-player game it did the same amount of damage as it normally does when not scoped.
