I have modified a Tank to be a character. Everything is working fine it follows way points and shoots LAW ammo. BUT it is turn sideways (90 degrees), how can I turn it to face forward?

Side Note: I'm planning on doing a helicopter next.

Open it up in a model editor and rotate the model.

That's real helpful. What is the point of posting this when people ask when they need help? If you can't offer sound advice, then don't post in the thread. Even we have had this issue and every piece of useful information is valuable to us or others.

Thanks, Lewis.

Not 100% on this but FPSC uses Orantation. Open up the FPI file and adjust it in the oranation script section. I have a tank as well I need to adjust too. I belive the y cord is what u adjust.

you need to open the characters fpi & change the value for fixnewy = change it to 90 that should work,if not try it 180 270 etc.dont forget to delete your bin & dbo files each time as well.

cheers henry

...because you want the tank to be a character:

1. Rotate the entire mesh & skeleton so that the rear of the tank is visible in the
front view, of your 3D modeling application, and export it out.

2. Edit the tank's .fpe file:

fixnewy = 180

3. Delete any .dbo and .bin files in the tank's folder.

4. Restart FPSC.

Your character tank will now be correctly orientated in FPSC.

Thanks Henry. I added fixnewy = 90 worked perfect.
