Hello everyone!
I have a question which has been racking my brains for days. It concerns my game: http://www.squaredworld.co.uk/ And trying to update a file by deleting it and using dbFTPGetFile to replace it. It works brilliantly when run in the "my documents" folder but as its redistributed I want it in the program files. Which works fine again until it comes to run either of these functions where it just freezes. I am guessing its due to being not allowed to due to administrator privileges but I wondered if there was a way around it?

Thank you very much in advance!
will,
Morcilla

It will be useful to know the Windows version.
I've heard that Windows 7 only allows programs to write to the documents folder... Haven't made any tests though.

Ahhh thats a bugger! It is going to be run on 7,vista and xp (maybe some other variants) Is there a work around? And does it work on XP (Seeing as that is the most used) ?

Thank you for the prompt reply!
