FPS Creator for Kids is not receiving any further updates
I have noticed that some people want the gore removed out of fpsc because they don't want their kids to become violent.

I have made a thingy\mod\patch\update i'm not sure what to call it but it removes gore. Backup your gamecore\bulletholes folder, your gamecore\decals\blood folder, your scriptbank folder and your languagebank\english\artwork folder if you want to revert to full gore again later.

If you mean High Gore I could do that because I already have a high gore mod on my HDD that is NOT the one posted on the forum

Think its funny that there's a gun there (part of the branding of the wordmark for FPS Creator) and then follows the word for kids lol

But I like the idea however, since blood raises age-ratings more than guns do.

The ratings board think removing blood makes a game good for kids, but surely showing kids the consequences of guns would be a better idea?

maybe it's just me
but fpscreator is already made for kids
otherwise ragdoll and blood and gore would be built in
we would not have to add it
likewise we would not have a school pack or a famous people from history pack
We would instead have a gears of war type pack
The model packs with the exception of war, weapons, urban and bonds zombies are leaning towards 'lame'
Kids fantasy packs - Nintendo stuff
First person shooter should mean what it says!
Sawing the big zombie guy in half with his own chainsaw and seeing the blood splatter off the screen was a great effect seen in x10 only seen since in Gears using the Lancer.
My opinion only but Fpscreator should stay on a par with the most violent and bloody games.

I think its good that there is possible to do such things as this, since FPSC could make games for kids for sure. Just look at Letters Kingdom.

anyhow... this is great idea. My theory in relation to other's posts: idea #1 give your kids 3d game maker designed for kids...
idea #2 if you want just download this mod and whoolah your kid can create violent games without guns... or make a good ol RPG etc etc...
EDIT: idea #3 Make a FPGC (first person game creator) rated E and FPSC rated M, each with content appropriate...

That's true. I have a friend who's kid played Burger Shop too much and now he works for McDonalds.

umm to totally remove the bloodsplats dont delete them. Replace them with a solid black texture. And how come FPSc is rated M, but its for kids? And a game would be T with or without blood if it had guns. Have you ever seen a not - cartoon game with guns rated E? Barely ever.

@ Drop Dead Fred who cares how old the person is, its the same game. And besides the engine is royalty free there is no "license" writing.

Personally I dont see removing the blood a "mod" or anything but a simple "step"

Just sayin

What about that kid who played with FPS's too much and joined the Army? (now he's just a war hero)

I think TGC made FPGC (First Person Game Creator) to tone FPSC down a bit and get rid of most of the violent aspects.
I'm pretty sure that version is reserved for educational institutions and other bulk buyers, but I may be wrong.
This was a good idea though, so don't get too discouraged at us for having a little fun with it.

Just in case any of you were wondering I only canceled this because it does everything I wanted it to do in the first place now and I simply don't have enough time to work on it. (busy messing around with Fenix mod complete edition )
