Hi,
I'm having a problem trying to reinstall a working version of DBPro on my PC.
I'd removed DBPro from my PC as I'd been having recurring problems when trying to compile programs (I really don't like the new synergy editor). It was running through the compile process properly then just crashing out with the standard message:
'Darkbasic Pro Project Has Stopped Working
Windows is checking for a solution to the problem'
I'd been having this problem on and off since installing 1.075.
(I'm using Vista 32 bit on a standard Intel Quadcore Q6600)
So I uninstalled DBPro and reinstalled the orginal version from my CD copy thinking a clean install might solve the problem.
I can write and compile programs using my CD copy (version 1?) however on installing the update (1.075) I'm back to crashing out to the '...stopped working' error when trying to compile (even with a simple print "hello world" repeat program)
I'd had problems with my Norman virus software which is constantly convinced md5.dll is a virus and kept quarantining it but I reinstalled with the virus software disabled prior to adding it to my ignore list so thats not the problem.
(I also installed the free download version and am getting the same problem).
Has anyone had this problem? I'm guessing its probably something to do with my setup, though I'd never had any real problems in the past (save for the md5.dll issue).
As it is, I'm stumped and don't have a working version of DBPro which i was hoping to spend a bit of time with, finishing a project off over the Christmas hols.
Thanks.
