If there's any suggestions let me know.

There's a Files folder...Inside it there's an entitybank folder and so on.

Extract the Files folder in your FPS Creator Main Folder.

Thanks, You russians really have a good felling for 3D..
Just look at the demo "Darkest Day on Russia" its awesome!

I do have some critics about Your model though, hope its fair..

Good:
-Good clean shape.

-You keep the proposions well, It can be hard. (For many)

-Nice Texturing..

Bad:
-Wheel looks weird, 12 polys around shourld be enough, so whats wrong? Wheel shourld be turned a little, so a flat polygon is pointing down to the ground. (Looks better) You can see its not a reel weel sence the backside is not texturd. In the inside of the wheel the hub cap is to small to its texture.. Tire looks a little bit bad because a bad texture. (Darker wheels & heavy tire-marks wourld have looked better.)
- Last mean critics LOL. is pointed at the front grill, always keep an eye of round objects and keep em round. In this case the lights is not round and the front grill stops all to heigh. There shourld have been an extrusion forward from the upper hood, in that way the front grilltexture wourld have had a natural upper stop, like in the picture. Also think about to use bigger wheel textures sence the player are walking very near them, and thats why the wheels are worth some extra work, and perhaps some extra polygons.

-512x512 is good for LOD, but standard today is 1024x1024 for a standard vehicle texture Bake..

Really well done, and if You look more to details You will become a real 3D Graphics artist! (I know what They are payed!)
Keep it up...

PS Here is a GAZ Photo.. (A little to big, but You can see the front)

I intentionally didn't do the front. Not much reference to go by for the texture,so I decided not to guess lol.

A few things I have to correct you on :

Quote: " You russians really have a good felling for 3D..
Just look at the demo "Darkest Day on Russia" its awesome!"

The person who made the game is from Argentina (correct me if I'm wrong)

And I'm not from russia lol.

Quote: "512x512 is good for LOD, but standard today is 1024x1024 for a standard vehicle texture Bake.."

The texture is 1024x1024.

The issue with the wheels is not the texture, but rather the UV map.I didn't relax the polygons to make the extrusion(negative) contain detail,so it stretches it giving a nasty effect.

I do agree about the back of the wheels though.I don't know where my head was , but I completely ignored the back of them.

Thanks for the honesty though

it looks pretty good, and I hope you don't mind some crits.

Model: pretty flat, which in turn makes the textures look very pasted on...and flat.

textures: pretty good, but again, looks pasted on, and is painfully noticable in the FPSC shot. you shouldn't rely on pure photosourcing, it just really never looks good. You'd be better off baking some good AO and lighting, and then hand painting dirt and scratches and rust, and then overlaying images of metal, not the car itself.

Hope this helps

Just for the record, the shot is not the final one with the model in the archive.Yes it is a bit flat, because I don't want to add too much polygons for a prop model.I don't rely on pure photosourcing at all.I actually prefer hand drawn maps, and even here there are a lot of parts which are not from sources. The render doesn't use any other maps besides the diffuse.

I'll reconsider adding a lot more detail to this one as I'm moving on to UDK , but I'll also give it away here.

Thanks for the tips by the way.

Yea, Me BAD!!!
Balkan is former Yugoslavia sorry... (Or Wrong again?)

Maybe Russians sucks at 3D Who knows? LOL!
Anyway I think that demo was the best Ive seen in FPSC...

".I didn't relax the polygons to make the extrusion(negative) contain detail,so it stretches it giving a nasty effect."

What Program do You use? This wourld be fixed if You optimize the model heavy.. (Not so heavy the model will deform itself)

The wheel texture is BAD, but You courld have fixed it by taking the two best halfes so it wourld have been a wheel-pattern around the whole wheel, I shourld have chosen another one though.

Honesty important always...

Alright,I'll stop being delusional,it is bad lol.

Quote: "Maybe Russians sucks at 3D Who knows?"

I'd say the oposite actually .

Quote: "Balkan is former Yugoslavia sorry... (Or Wrong again?)"

Close, but not quite,I'm from Bulgaria which is next to Serbia,Turkey and Greece.

Quote: "What Program do You use?"

An old version of 3ds max.

Which reminds me if anyone is interested in a version of this with a cover on it,let me know :

Again , apreciate the honesty,it can only help me develop.

The covered truck is really cool.

One could use a destroyandactivate script to have the player "remove" the cover
