Wow...It's been a very long time since I've used FPSC and personally I feel quite a bit has changed. I also have new errors and new things I get to fix before I actually get to play around with it haha.

For the past two days, I've been working on fixing as many errors as I can find. I've been having luck except a few. My main issue is this:

When I make a level using the Modern Day 2 pack (it's the one with the zombie doctors with meat cleavers and segments like the lobby and the bloody room.) Instead of the game starting INSIDE of the room it'll start on top as if I were on top of a roof. LOL! Anyone experience something similar?

Not too big on hardware but I'll give it a shot:
Windows 7
ATI Radeon Graphics Card
Vision AMD (I think that's the video lol)
4 gig. RAM
2.3 ghz processor

Thanks in advance for the help =]

Make sure u set it to spawn on the floor of your level. Try grabiing it and pressing enter. This should auto place it on the ground for you or the closest enity if its resting on a table or something.

Sounds like you have some kind of dynamic entity causing collision probs (if you have placed the player start marker correctly), either remove it or use nocol script.

Thanks guys. Your advice really helped. On to my next venture. I noticed that some segments load as you get closer to them. For example, if I am not close enough to them, they will appear invisible until i get closer then they show up. Updating also fixed a few issues but updating to 1.17 makes me want to pull my hair out lol. I'd really like to be a productive member of the community here but I can't because I continue to encounter all of these issues.

Try clicking on Files-Preferences and disable shaders. That should fix dissapearing walls.

Thanks!! This helped too. For most of the segments anyways. I think it's just a segment issue with some of the packs. But it also improved the frame rate too =]

Edit: I'm also finally able to get started working on some levels. Reducing shadows, removing unnecessary water settings, and adding black fog also seemed to improve the frame rate! =]]

Edit: Edit: (lmao) Well I found the edit button..Just need to figure out how to delete the other post xD
