I'm trying to find the WC of limbs after they have been rotated; however, the WC of each limb (using the limb position() commands) is always the center of the object.
I've done several tests and also exported the .x model using different exporters & programs.
The tests turned up true limb positions, even when the entire model is rotated. But once a limb is rotated everything goes haywire and the limb positions are at model center. I'm measuring the limb positions immediately after they have been rotated.

Anyone have any ideas as to what is causing the problem?

Well, I'm now able to read proper limb positions...usually.

The first problem, which seems either like I'm missing some hidden DBP flag or an outright problem with DBP itself is that to return the correct limb positions I first need to do a sync. This makes no sense to me because as far as I know sync is only (or should only be) for drawing the frame, not updating limb rotation/translation (remember that I earlier said limb positions worked fine when the entire model is rotated? Well that was without sync).

I still have a minor problem where the limb positions are reported as the origin of the object under certain rotation conditions. The problem is that it's physically impossible for most of the joints (or limbs if you like) to pass through the object's origin by simply rotating them...you would also need to move or scale the joint...and I have a total count of ZERO limb movement/scaling commands in my program.

A bump in the night, with some images in a ZIP file

I'm wondering if anyone else has ran into a similar problem
