Hello all! I was making a screen saver, and i want it to draw over an image. That's not the problem, i was wondering how to get a screen shot of the desktop. I try to hide the window, and get an image, then show the window and paste the image, but it still returns the equivalent of the window maximized Thanks for helping!

You can do it but you need a DLL or a plugin but not with the native commands.

My computer surpasses all the technologies of the day. What computer do I have?

Windows can do it when you press the Print Screen button.

I'm not sure what the function call is, but I'm sure DBP can load the windows dll resposible and call the function.

Perhaps you should have a look on MSDN? Try and find out what dll/what function call to use?
