I have a table lamp and wish it to be the only light source in a room, how is this achievable. I have done a quick search on the forum and not good an answer which matches my understanding.
I have added a light object in the approximate position of the table lamp but that simply adds light from above.I am sure the answer is blindingly obvious

Use the "Page Up" And "Page Down" keys to lower/raise the height of your light marker to the position of your lamp.
