There should be a .pdf file called "FPSC Hint’s & Tips" collected and written by Nickydude, in the Tutorial folder of your FPS Creator directory which offers answers for the most obvious questions and solutions for a lot of common problems. It also contains usefull tips on many aspects of game design.

I advertise it because it worked perfectly for myself. I learned how to retexture, how to script, how to use lights and even the basics of modelling all from this manual. And what's more important this incredibly well-written piece of work made me understand stuff, instead of just offering paste-it solutions.

Here is what "FPSC Hint’s & Tips" offers on 185(!) pages (some things might be outdated with 1.18 beta, like the Actions/Conditions lists) - and yes, a lot of these themes actually are in the most recent threads on the FPSC general, scripting and modelling forums

Thats a lot of perfectly written hints, tips, Qs&As and tutorials. And apart from answering questions and solving problems, I always find the contents extremly inspiring for my own game design, because it shows what the engine is capable of, if one is ready to invest some time & effort.

I have no tutorial folder. I think your referring to the 266 page Official Community Guide in the FPSC docs folder. Yes, this is a excellent resource.

You are somehow right. I think i got the Tips&Tricks guide with my original FPSC download (or from the harddisk), it seems to have been absorbed into the FPSC community guide.

my bad for mixing them up, because I have them both printed out and split into sections

I'll update the contents for reference.
