i have put the link into the bit for photobucket but it dint work??

use the [ img ] [ / img ] tags (without the spaces)

The easiest way to do it is:

1. Use Gencheff's way (and paste your link between the tags) or;

2. Click the image button at the top of the area where you make your post, and paste your link in the popup box, and the rest is history.

Are you sure the link to the image is direct and not something like http:\\site.com\image.php?id=121354 ... ?

Other than that the forum has this issue sometimes not to display images and links.

That is a direct link.

Put your link between the [img] tags like this (without the spaces between the square brackets and the 'img'):

The problem is the link.Some links are interfering in some way with the forum bb code system.

Use imageshack.us and you'll be fine.

Imageshack is a good source; I personally use TinyPic, which even has its own upload client so you can upload a bit quicker

It's because the link has a space in it (hence the %20). You can't show an image that has a space somewhere in the address., remove any spaces and all should be well.
