Hey guys!


Well, I have this awesome new character for Mega Mash Mothers, and I went ahead and rigged and animated the idle animation. When I exported it as a .x file and loaded it into DBP, the model came out all twisted and weird What could be causing this? This never happened before to me, and I've been using CharacterFX for quite a while. Google also didn't give any results...

Top pic is in Character FX, bottom in DBP:



As you can see, his left ear and left leg are distorted... This COULD be because I copied the skeleton from the right side to the left side and mirrored it, but if that were the problem, why isn't the left arm twisted? Help?

This prob is not the answer, but I have seen something like this when you use poser and apply a BVH file. The animation gets screwed up because it twists the rigged points in to the wrong direction, which ofc then twists and does all manor of things to the model.

Could it be that DBP has twisted one of your points?? Just a guess tho m8...hope you get it sorted.

Well, I couldn't find any solution, so I re-rigged the whole left side of the model, and that seemed to fix the problem... Anyway thanks for the response, and I'll try and not to apply any BHV files
