I have a very simple question: is DarkSHADER useful if you don't use DBP or the GDK? Is it a generic shader viewer, except more visual in style, or is it angled entirely towards TGC products?

I would suppose it's the latter, but it's better to ask than to assume.

DarkSHADER can read Direct3D '.FX' shader files, aswell ass its own '.DBS' files. If you were writing .FX shaders then yes, I'm sure it'd be great as a general shader viewer.

C++ is labourless... if your name starts with 'L' and ends with 'ee'.
