I've been playing around with reflection shaders, and can't quite achieve my desired effect. Does anyone know of any reflection shaders (.FX files) or any ouh ways to do this without modding FPSC?

So far I have managed to achieve this... the light is reflected:

C++ is labourless... if your name starts with 'L' and ends with 'ee'.

If anyone has a refraction shader for FPSC X9 that works for glass / windows I'd be really grateful.

I thought there was one around the forums somewhere but nothings come up.

from what I understand, you have to do a screen environment where you want to put the mirror and put it in the shader.

Dark Shaders or what ever that program is TGC offers a tool you can purchase to get the desired FX effects on chars, models etc. I have it just never used it.

The thing about reflections and refractions is that the shader needs an image of what should be reflected or refracted. This typically requires you to modify the engine in order to supply such an image to the shader.

Could do this easilly for the dynamic objects in FPSC and also efxMod had it. Its nothing that hard to add to the source.
