A quick question about DBP before I buy it:

Can I open DBC files (.dba or somesuch) in DBP? Like, if I started my programming in DBC, then bought DBP, could I just open it in Pro, (or copy, paste it), or would there be some problem there? (I know that I couldn't do the reverse...)

Yup, you can open DBClassic files in DBPro. They won't all run first time though, you'll probably have to make some alterations, tweak the script a bit to get it to run.

thing is, if you want pro, forget the old DB projects. It's much better to start everything from scratch and use the methods that are more native to DBpro. This way you don't get any compatability issues and such. I'd suggest playing around in DBpro for a while before starting to rewrite your projects. You might learn a lot of useful stuff.
