Hey mate, Sorry but I will have to pull out. I have been working on a "Left 4 Dead" inspired YouTube series, and I'm up to my neck in scripting and editing.

I could however, assist you judge the contest, along side Cross Hair Games. I wouldn't and couldn't be bias in anyway, because I hardly know anyone here on the forums. Furthermore, I play many 'scary' FPS games (e.g. FEAR 2, Doom 3, Quake 4...), and enjoy watching horror movies. I know what I'm looking for in a scary game...

If ya like, I could show you what I had for the contest (the uncompleted shots?)

@all: sorry for being late on updating site in evening. I get back late. Also, My mic broke, the cable snapped, so I will have to buy another mic before I will have first video of my new series out for the site. (It is a surprise) BTW: I hate fraps, anyone have any idea how to get the audio and video to sync? Been searching for hours.

By date you are refering to the deadline for the games to be entered, 27th February? Yes, I can judge on that day, and most likely have the results in on the same day, or in 3 days tops. If you like, I could dontate a few textures, or models to the 1st and seconds places? Up to you.

EDIT: I would like to add that I am not 100% sure what you mean "custom model" do you mean something we make ourselves or purchased? I understand your looking for something differant but some of us can't model.

@Chad: I understand that, it just cannot be a stock model. Any model that was shipped with fpsc is not considered custom. Thanks for being honest. lol. So, yes you can buy one and use it.

I was testing what I have done so far, runs great on this desktop. Sent it to my brother to test, ran great. I attempted to test it on my other desktop, and laptops, and failed. The fps range from 5-15. Needless to say that they aren't the most up to date peices of equiptment out, but it made me think of the judges. Does everyone judging have relatively up to date cpu's? I don't speak for everyone, but I'm sure we are all cramming as much stuff into this 1 level as possible. I would hate to see lower scores due to lack of modern hardware.

My game will run acceptable in a Core2Duo 1.8GHZ with 2 Gigs RAM and X1900, as I use this one as dev plattform instead of my high-end-rig I have for UDK.

I guess this pretty much the minimum today anyway.

I don't think you should give up. I'm not good at custom content but it does say you only need one piece. I'm sure you could do a crate, or a barrel.

I think you should carry on. I'll make a level too, in the hopes that it inspires you to keep on making yours. I won't be able to make anything incredible.

Looks like I've missed this one Been pretty busy these last couple of months. Hate the thought of missing out on a good horror comp, but I suppose others will come along eventually.

@OutdoorGamer, if you like you may offer all participants in this competition that submit a valid entry by the deadline their choice of any (1) model from my GC Store account, and the first place winner may chose any additional (5).

Can you define the custom model requirement for the contest. Does it mean I, as the creator of the game, have to make a model, or does it mean it needs to include a model which is not in the stock version of FPSC/Model Packs?
