you need to add animation frames too, like:
dual_select
dual_idle
dual_fire
(I don't know all the commands)

I think this'll only work in mods using Ply's Mod. (like project blue)

I might be wrong though

Actually, there is a free gun in the Store, Dual Elite. I have used it messing around before and it does work. Since then though I had had problems with my FPSC, don't know if the problem was related to this gun, but I had to re-install my FPSC and haven't messed with it since.

candual=x is regarding asymmetric dual wielding in Plys Mod/Project Blue. Dual elite, p90 dual and mp6 duals are all fake dual wield which are unrelated to this.

What do you mean by fake?

I mean it's a faked effect. The only special thing about it is that theres a setting for 2 muzzle flashes, smoke, etc. but technically it's one weapon with an iterate=1 setting as far as the game is concerned.

PM/PB on the other hand actually loads two weapons which can be fired independently, have seperate ammo, etc.

Ah ok.
So these work more on the perception of dual weilding and "true" duel wielding is actually two independent weapons.
Think I got it, thanks Errant.
