So I'm new to this stuff, and I did some lurking and searching. And I was wondering if you could make it so that the weapon has no reload ability? Much like the Mas36 had before. (Just a straight ammo count (x), no (x/y).)

Yes you can. Just change your reload quantity to how many shot you want, and change the ammo quantity to 0.

OK, so I changed the reload quantity to, 700, Just to play. And it works as long as the ammo is set to 1 or more. When I set ammo to 0, I just have no ammo at all. It says 0/0 for ammo. When i set it to 1, it displays 700/0. Is there a way to get rid of that /0?

go to the gun spec of the weapon and change the specs inside. the airmod manual has great refernce and it is used in 117 and above. noautoreload, no fullreload and a bunch of other stuff. as far as getting the remaining ammo part out of the hud you will have to find a way to modify that or not use the ammo by using a blank picture for the numbers maybe. Maybe when they release 118.4 there will be a way to edit this better.

Maybe try setting the weapontype to 0 in the gun spec making it think it is a melee weapon. If the weapon has unlimited ammo then you would not need the ammo info anyway.

Here is the link to airmod were you can get the manual for it.

Other links that might help but is old and reports that it had been fixed, but was used at one time:

Hope this helps a bit.

I was trying to make something like the Beam Rifle from Halo 3, or any other plasma weapon. It's just the ammo, and when it hits 0, that's that. I remember the Mas36 had it before I updated (and of course, I failed to backup, because that would be the smart thing to do). By chance do you think there was something in there that got removed?
