whats the best free or cheap software to use to create my cutscenes, and i would like something that makes the cutscenes look good, ive been told iclone 4. any other ideas?

iClone 4 is the best tool for creating cutscenes with FPSC. But it's not free. Altso CrazyTalk is very great for making talking scenes with FPSC. If you want something free you can record youw own people walking around in waypoints and so to make a cutscene.

I use WeGame to record scenes and hadn't any issue with lag so far.

Further I recommend reading the Community Guide page 155: "Machinima Cutscenes", especially because there are a dozen links for related software provided.

you might want to check out Movie Storm http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/

the base program is free so you can try it out. there is also a small but very helpful community there. lots of model packs to buy or rent. make sure to watch the tutorials.
