1) how can I get the right effect to get it really cool looking ?
i mean like lighting etc.

2) how can I get it so that the characters can't see you in the dark?
like in splintercell or something

3) how can I shine the light directional? as in god rays true a hole in the roof (you know what god rays are right ? )

1) Read LethalMG
2) Can't do that, but adjust the view cone angle and there are also tabs for "Can See and Can Hear"
3) Not possible currently.

I reject your stereotype of Wisconsin and, in fact, live in a city.

He posted before me

If you're familiar with Field Of View (fov) in games like Call of Duty on the PC, it's the same thing. It sets how wide the view is for the NPC.

so a view cone angle of 20 will set... that he only can see whats happening in front of him (offcourse in combination with the view field offcourse)

View Cone Angle= Field of View, so setting it to something low like 20, would indeed make his vision very limited.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.
