I changed the size of a character (400%) in the fpe. But I noticed that I can only shoot the character at the normal height. If I shoot above the normal 100% height I don't hit anything, even though I see the character that tall. Do I need to change the .X model size or ?

Edit: I made a larger model and specified the new one in the fpe. Now I am trying to get it to show a gun/flash.

Ok, nothing quite working. Anyone know if I increase the scale in the fpe of a character why can I not shoot anything above the normal 100% of the character. If I make a robot that is bigger, I can only shoot at his legs and hit anything.

I tried making a bigger .x but then the gun flash was on the ground and had a problem with animation. Everything works great when I change the fpe, except for the shooting at it part.

Grr, help?

...when rescaling via the .fpe file, all kinds of unpredictable distortion occurs to
the collision box, shot detection, and even sizing of the VWEAP held by the
character.

I must agree 100% with funny's advice.

Use a 3D application (such as FragMOTION) to scale the .x model to the exact
size that you wish it to be during gameplay.
