its for my fpsc x9 game deathkon 3000, although its going to be on steam i wouldnt mind having a trial version with an hour limit on gameplay

this can be done within FPSC most likely through complex scripts. but maybe a source mod can more easily accomplish it.

An hour of gameplay...that would mean that the code would need to have something that locks out the user from the game after...3600000 ms. You could probably get DBP and the FPSC source, then add something like
to the main loop... I'm no DBP expert, though, so don't trust this

I reject your stereotype of Wisconsin and, in fact, live in a city.

You can tell that the guys at steam, they`ll do that for you. With whom are you working there? Douglas? Mitchell?

If you got an agreement with steam, you usually deliver them your open files (not source, but non-packed) and they itnegrate it into their delivery system. They can make a free version that expires after 60 minutes and several other fancy things, if you want.

So I thought you already have a contact there.

You know that your game has to pass Steams internal QA, do you?
