Newcomers DBPro Corner / Lost- Please Help

Alright, simple question: where do I start? I just successfully downloaded DarkBASIC Professional 30-Day Trial onto my Windows 7. I read all the tutorials in the program and tried to create a primitive first-person shooter with the knowlegde I learned. I just don't know what to do or where to start. Could anyone please help? If someone could just give me a basic example of how to create a basic game that would be great. I don't have any programming or modding experiance and I was just wondering if someone would just give me some kind of direction. Thanks!

I would advise checking out the dbpro beginners fourm and looking at tdks toutorials
