I was wondering how you could make DarkBASIC go online and get some information. Say you had a Google Analytics account and you wanted to see its stats through DarkBASIC. Is that even possible?

You can use the following commands to get information from the web:

HTTP CONNECT : HTTP CONNECT URL String
HTTP DISCONNECT : HTTP DISCONNECT
HTTP REQUEST DATA : Return String=HTTP REQUEST DATA(Verb, Object, String To Send)

These can be found in the FTP section of the help files.

Apparently, you can use the google data protocol to recieve data from analytics.

This probably isn't that helpful for Analytics, but the following is a function I use in Dbpro to download files from websites:

You simply specify the URL, followed by the filename to be saved to.
