I've seen the question more times. But the topics were older as I thought. Right now I'm using Notepad and CMD to compile my games. But like the most of you know, it isn't a very good way to write your games. Definitely for people who want to create large games it is one and all crap.
Spoken about Crap. The IDE's I tested on my Win7 didn't worked at all. I talk about BlueIDE,The DBPRO default one,Inigo and Codesurge.
I do not know if they work on XP. But some people told it does.
But because the threats of 30 days and older I'm not sure about an currently project.

Is there already an good IDE downloadable or is there coming one?
I've heard about a 'Dark IDE' or something. Correct me if I'm wrong.
About that I haven't heard either but it looked good and I'm interrested in it because the previous one did not work very well...

I'm somehow new on this forum and I want to know more. Can somebody tell me more about the current stats?

Regards.

What was the problem with the IDE? Did you round up the usual suspects? (AV blocking its execution, run as admin, etc.)

Give some detail as to what "didn't run at all" means.

Errors with Compiling, menu's that didn't work corectly. Program that closes after a nasty error, code editor with iritating way of typing, showing an syntax error when it doesn't exist (and I'm sure about it because in the previous IDE's it highlights the error line and it doesn't and still give that error. There was nothing wrong with my code at that moment. It just was one line: ' Print "yo" ')
etc.

It is nasty, but it isn't a very fine way to write a game.

Wait, so the exact same code runs fine when you compile it via command line, but crashes when you run it through the IDE?

I think a lot of people use win7 on this forum and everything works fine. Have you checked out the windows compatibility thread?

Iunnoifyuuknow, but 'print "yo"' would not display anything on the screen, it would just create a window that closes. Some IDEs if you click on the side it will leave a little mark there (not representing an error), and others are just slow to update. Most of them you can go into the options and mess with code completion to get rid of IDEs filling in stuff for you (usually ends up in it being typed twice X_X). I would try to get Indigo working. At the very least you would be helping to debug it!

I've tried Indigo yes, but when I'm compiling it shows an nasty error. X_X (do you know something about the error? --->attachment)
I posted it already in the forumtopic and I hope there will be some reaction soon.

It says that you have 2 DLL's that contain the same command and it can't decide which DLL to use.

You need to delete either EnhancementsFREE.dll or Enhancements.dll. [edit] Probably in your plugins-user directory. Moving it away instead of removing might be safer.

Cheers!
