Have you got all the required textures _I,_N,_D?
Can you use Pixel shader 3.0 on entities?

All browsers should come with compulsory spell checks.

Check out a set of textures of a segment that is using the shader you wish to use, and see which textures you need to have, and if there are any Alpha references used. For example: one of bond's shaders requires that the specular map is pasted into the alpha channel of the Normal map.

I don't know if this will help, but I was noticing this same issue, but only on certain maps. Take the example map that comes with FPS Creator displaying shader effects. It wouldn't work until by accident one day I added a regular segment to it, went into the level, and it worked.

So now, whenever I work on a map, if the shaders aren't working, I'll randomly pick another segment and add it somewhere outside of the area I'm working on and the shaders will magically start working.

Anything is possible
