Hi

Not sure if this is the right thread to post, but seeing as it's based on the DBPro engine - does anyone have more information on the upcoming "FPC Creator"? As a non-programmer I'm very excited to learn how it might work and how much better it might be than The 3D Gamemaker (which I found too restrictve).

Cheers

It's still too early days to tell anything much yet. Don't expect a release until well into 2004. We'll post more info as and when it's possible.

Cheers,

Rich

on the note of FPS's is there anybody out there who can help me with some very, very simple problems

1.when you turn the camera the gun doesn't move with it (just rotates on the spot

&

2.when you press [,] and [.] it doesn't do correct strafing for some reason
(my codes somthing like)

note this works as long as you dont turn

simquad - Have a look at LOCK OBJECT ON.

For the strafing you are moving the camera relative to the world rather than local coordinates.

A nice cheat would be:

That may be because you haven't positioned the object correctly. Try positioning the ovbect at 0,0,1 initially and adjust it from there.
