Hey guys.

I've been recently working with level using Bond1's Metro Theater Pack, and it seems like the media doesn't have the same luster that is used to, as if the shaders aren't working properly. The water effects don't have the same effect from what I remember.

Here's Bond1's original video on Youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpBdkCaBaz8

Now, here's some screenshots for comparison:

Movie Screen:

It seems to me that the movie screen's animation or layering is different from Bond1's...dunno why.

Movie Projector Cone:

In the theater, there is no movie projector cone that shows the light beam from the projector.

Waterfall 1:

In this first waterfall, the original effect in Bond1's video is not shown. It's like the water is there, but not illuminated, so it looks...bad.

hmmmm i see well im quite new to the forums but i think that you should turn "Full Shader Effects" "ON" if not i suggest reinstalling and going back to 1.17 but just try the shaders on or vice versa , to activate the shaders go to (file-Preferences and turn it on)

GoodLuck

I'll have a look on my end with 1.18 and get back to you. It's possible that it may need a small update.

EDIT: Yes, Metro Theater needs a minor update for 1.17/1.18. I'll be sending it to TGC in the next few days.

Lee has added some new code specifically for shaders, that lets water work correctly among other things.

I'm going to wait until 1.18 matures a bit more before updating the Metro Theater pack. We're in beta 7 right now, so it shouldn't be that much longer. Then I'll update ALL my packs from MP22 onwards.

Things are changing too fast during this beta, that it would be premature to send an update right now.

BigJayWH: all the bond1 model packs were updated recently actually. Just download the latest versions from your order history.

Lobster, thanks. It was just a problem on my end. When I downloaded the most recent beta it reset my quality settings in the test game mode. Another Rookie mistake by me.
