by default, the camera is set to "automatic" (it's also positioned at 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, by default). further, when the camera is in automatic, it will point itself at the last object that was loaded or created.
so... take control of the camera using:
then,
position it wherever you want it:
position camera X#, Y#, Z#
and,
point it where you want it to look:
finally, do yourself a favor and re-read through all the various commands. seeing commands like
autocam off (and
on) should trigger questions for you. ie, "hmm, what's this "autocam" about?". being even slightly familiar with the various commands (ie, just knowing they exist) will help you figure out some of the basic issues like the one here. playing with them a little and you'll discover more potential within the language (especially when it comes to how you might combine them to pull off some nifty functionality or features for you games).
