I'm having problems with using advanced terrain. I've narrowed it down to simply being the format of the image file, so does anyone know what format (bit depth, file format, colour format, size etc) the file needs to be saved in? (I'm using PS CS2 if that helps) also, any tutorials or in depth help files for using advanced terrain would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance.

24 or 32 bit RGB should be fine in any of the accepted file formats: png, bmp, tga, dds, jpg. I usually use png.

If you're still stuck I'll post a simple demo later.

Okay, thanks, just now realized that the size of the height map affects the size of the terrain as well, which was causing other problems. so thanks for your help

A full list of the commands and their description would still be greatly appreciated though, I cant seem to find any info in the help files about them :S
