I was always wondering what kidn of server multiplayer(ARENA)maps use and whether anyone has found a way to get more than 8 players per map or jump between or to different arenas given so they can get more than 8 on map?

Well, FPSC IP greatly improves the multiplayer giving you many new features, but it has a price.
Lemur V2 Mod also improves the multiplayer by giving you TDM, but that is about it. The good thing about this one is that it is free though.
Also, I believe the max people is 16, 8v8
