I think paypal works by, after you purchase the product, the vendor will email you a download link, if the product is not in your possession within a certain ammount of time. You can open a dispute and the people running paypal will force the vendor to give you the product or give you your money back.

Well at least that's how the purchase of henrys character kit works.

that's 1 possibility, but one that you will have to make yourself, the usual paypal process is that after they purchase the product (i.e. from where you are from your screen print, they login and confirm payment), then paypal will redirect them to another page/link which you configure that will either have a download link on the page, or be a direct link to the download file itself.
You have to create that final page yourself; or make sure that your file is available at the download link (if that's the case).

Ok then...the next question is, how do you do the "Final" page.? Personaly i went to paypal check every button, especially "Merchants Products" or something of that sort, it only gave me the same thing.

after logging into your account, goto the Merchant Services Tab, and then the Buy Now buttons option under the Key Features section.
Fill in all the fields as required for your product for steps 1 to 3.
At Step 3 (Customize advanced features), there are a couple of url links that you can specify that the buyer goes to when either they do or do not complete their order:

please note that this is the very simplest method of payment processing and does not have any security or real order confirmation. if you need those extra features, then you will need to read up a bit more on Website Payments Standard and IPN (Instant Payment Notification).

Be careful though. You'll need to make a security measure to ensure that your users will not spread around the download link. I recommend using PHP to generate custom url's for each buyer.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.
