Doesn't work on ATI Mobility

At least that's my experience anyway. I have 2 laptops, an older Advent and a newer IBM Thinkpad. Both have ATI mobility cards, both have a problem with the DirectX backbuffer.

My laptop has an ATI M4 in it and works fine with DBPro. The only thing missing are pixel shaders ... and speed

Thanx.....but i uninstalled dbpro and installed it again, and have not upgraded to 5.1b and now it seems to be working fine..all the demos display now after i have compiled them.

Does this mean then that the problem is in the patch? or does the patch use new features that my graphics card cannot do?
