I've been wanting to get this dark basic for some time, the only thing holding me back is the ridiculous lack of a direct x 11 exporter; there is a direct x 9, that's it.
Is there a way around this aside from not using blender to make models?
I'm firmly attached to my blender 2.49b like superglue for model making. Sometimes I export to make animations with an old program not available anymore called micrographix simply 3d3. Corel bought them out and just destroyed it, swept it under the carpet, but it was the easiest most versatile thing ever made. Only shortcoming was lack of pixel resolution when making models, number controls of all functions instead of just point and click for dummies, lack of abilities in modifying objects like to cut one in half or use another shape to cut out a section of one like in Design Cad... a program that will not even work on my Windows7.
I got Cararra 7 pro also but no idea how to use it yet.

Then what is the problem? DBPro uses DX9, not DX11...
