What's up!!!.

EDIT: I sorry I hit the post button before I was done.

For the past week or so I have been working on the bones of a Scifi RPG game. At the moment it's not much more than a early tech demo but I will definitely continue developing it more and some C & C always helps.

At the moment the only story is that your a marine recruit sent to Saturn with a team of marines and scientists to find out why communication has been lost with the bases in the area. Yeah its lame but I'll probably come up with something better as I go along.

Some Current Features Are:
Large Expansive Landscapes
Normal Mapping
Shadows
LOD System
Tons of other things that I have in my head but just need to figure out how to execute.

Here Are some screenshots

Not the image should be fixed, but the link to it. You forgot to add the [/IMG] tag at the end, and also, there's no file extension (for example: .bmp, .png, .jpg, etc...).
Your link should have something like this:

http://i742.photobucket.com/albums/xx64/chriske/Untitled-0002.jpg

inside the [IMG][/IMG] tags

Cheers

...Nevermind... still waiting for the link to be fixed.

- Oh finally. Looks nice. Not too much to see, but for what it is it looks pretty cool.

In its pure form oxygen is highly combustible. So don't light a match near it.

I like sci-fi, and I like RPGs, so interested in where this is going.

Yup oxigen is one of the most killer substances of the universe. Only useful for us when it is only the correct percentage of the atmosphere. Like with everything else in the world.

Hah, this actually looks pretty original.

I saw the failed half-post and thought the game was going to follow suit, GLaD I came back and was proven wrong with those screenshots.

Thanks. The character model is just an old FPSC model I'm using as a place holder for the time being.

I apologize again for the half post. I was gonna fix it when it happened but I forgot about that noob status. So I had to wait.

Now that looks nice. Quite atmospheric, it fits the terrain very well. But I assume the player won't be able to enter the building?

If that's a communications station, then I'd suggest putting in a big ass radio dish, so the player has something to look at.

Old people with oxygen tanks aren't allowed to smoke for a reason, and it's not because of their lungs. Also, you'll see trucks carrying oxygen tanks with warning signs all over them. And if you breath pure oxygen long enough, you can get high.

I think it looks cool so far, not really an rpg but an adventure game
