1. I downloaded the model pack but for some reason the textures of the weapons are really bad. I have the setup.ini and preferences set so the textures are not cut or look worse but it still does look really bad for me. Any way I can fix this? (Also, if anyone can post a setup.ini the would make FPSC look its best that would be great because I can never get FPSC too look as good as it does when I see other people's games.)

2. For some reason the sprint animations for the weapons only play if I use my whole clip of ammo and then start to sprint. Otherwise, it uses the original FPSC sprinting animations. Anyway to fix this?

3. Is there anyway I can use this pack with Project Blue because I have tried but it doesn't want to play all of the different animations for the weapons?

4.(This question is specific to PB, but I just want to know) When using the Mod.ini file and turning effectsonweapons=0 to 1 I get a big black spot where the crosshair would usualy be. Any reason for this?

Sorry for all the trouble, but I'm really not sure about all these problems. These areas aren't really my specialty. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Slayer1918z

1. If your textures look blurry/low-res you need to enable anisotropic filtering on your video card. I recommend a minimum of 4x AF. If you are referring to the greenish hue in some textures the update will include some textures being replaced as 24bit rather than DTX5 compression.

2. This was purposefully done so that you only see the run anim when the gun can not be fired. The SAW is set to only be shootable when walking or idle and so you see the run animation whenever you are running regardless of having ammo or not. You have the option of editing the gunspecs to allow run animations to play when the gun has ammo by uncommenting the ;//run=x,y setting.
You can also restore run and shoot for the SAW, or automatic reloads in gunspec by editing the expanded settings.

3. Project Blue and other mods will require an update to the new source after 1.18 is out of beta if the authors wish to support all functionality.

4. PB handles transparency of crosshairs differently. Open the crosshair and add an alpha channel that's all black and re-save with alpha channels. That should fix it.

No problem, if you have further bugs to report for MP53, please do so here.
