I've been beating my head against the monitor for a few days now trying to figure out why DarkClouds works fine in a stand alone app, but not in my game. So I narrowed it down to the fact that the image produced by DarkClouds was all black.

Looking into what might cause that, I narrowed it down to Antialiasing. If that's enabled, the DarkClouds texture is solid black.

For those with DC, here's a demo.

Hum, I ran the demo, and it worked, both with and without Antialiasing on.
I also tried with other resolutions, and both worked.
Must be something else causing the problem, I think.

Cheers

What's your video card?

[edit]
Also, can you test to see if the DC SET TIME, and DC SET AUTO SUN DIRECTION commands work for you when compiling?

If they do, then I may just need to format a new partition with XP on it so I can develop without further interruption from Windows 7 incompatibilities.

Its an ATI Radeon HD 3870. And, I have Vista installed on my system.

I think they do, but I'm not sure. Will try it out ASAP.

Hum, 'DC SET TIME' gave me the error 'Could not understand command at line ...', and 'DC SET AUTO SUN DIRECTION' gave the error 'Parameter mismatch in command DC SET AUTO SUN DIRECTION at line ...'

They both highlight in blue for me, but the compiler hangs when it gets to them. Hmm...

My video card is an EVGA GeForce 9800GT.
