Hi! I've been working on an app and I want it to run as administrator (windows vista/7) after the installation since it needs to create/modify some files. After searching for a while I found this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc163486.aspx#S5
So now I'm wondering if there's a way to add a manifest file to a DBPro App.

I use to use Manifest Files with BlueGui to enable Visual Styles, but i cant use a Manifest File now unless I downgrade to XP and Remove a DBPro Upgrade or two.

Generally I wouldn't trust any unknown application with permission to alter any files it wants. What kind of files are you referring to?

Files in the same application folder that it needs to update.

Ah I see. Would it be too much to ask the user to run as administrator when updating?
