Obviously there's the view cone angle for the angle enemy entities can see you and become active, but how do you change how far they can see? With the default settings it seems that you need to be around 2-3 segments distance from them before they notice you which isn't handy in larger-sized rooms...

In their main script, look for the lines tagged "plrdistfurther=" and "plrdistwithin=", often in context with condition "plrcanbeseen" and edit the values.

Perfect, thank you! What is the difference between these values though?

"plrdistfurther=" is comparable to "If player is further away than X"

""plrdistwithin=" is coparable to "If player is WITHIN X".

Iguess one segment has 85*85, btu I could be wrong on that. However, 400-450 detection tange will be sufficent for almsot all enemies ecept snipers.

"plrcanbeseen" on the other hand is no float variable, it`s a condition, a bool, it`s either 0 (NO) or 1 (YES). It checks if the player can be seen

A segment is 100 units.

plrcanbeseen can also be used like this : plrcanbeseen=x , where x is an addon to the current view angle of the entity
