Hello, I have been using Promotion to make a .spr file and Photoshop to make the animated gif's. I was wondering if there was any way to use these files in DBpro or if there is a way to convert them to a bitmap which DBpro can use.
I do know you can use videos but i don't really want to have to add an extra step.

animated .gif files aren't offically* supported (as in 'undocumented') but they will load and play using the animation commands. ie,

*i haven't played with it much but i don't see any apparent issue with them in dbp. if i remember correctly, the issue was to do with the time between frames but testing it now, they seem fine. give them a shot and see how they work for you.

It's better to resave each frame on a single image and use the CREATE ANIMATED SPRITE command to get them in Darkbasic Pro. Just remember that each frame needs to be right next to the next frame so it cuts the image up properly.

@ PrimalBeans:

As long as it isn't in your code, cool. I personally like making homemade pizza and jerky (separately).
