Post a small program that you wrote, that WON'T run for you, so we can all look at it and perhaps spot the problem.

And when you post code, don't forget to use the [ code ] and [ /code ] tags (without the spaces) to put in a box like this...

Do you get any error messages or does the program open and shut in an instant. If you get error messages please post your code so we can help . If it opens and shuts then try a 'wait key' or initiate a loop.

It does that to me too, what happens basically: DBPro won't run anything that doesn't have a .DBPRO file, and also it all needs to be saved into the installation folder, under the 'Projects' folder.

Which solves the problem for me, though it is very complicated when it comes to trying out snippets!

Does anybody have a good solution for quick running 'some' code?
I saw on the demonstration Youtube video that the guy just type in some "hello world" kinda stuff, hit compile, and it runs. It won't for me, it needs to be SAVED first to the correct place, WITH a .dbpro file, this is stupid!

I have a project called "testing" that I copy and paste code snippets into, so I don't have to do the whole "new project" thing every time I want to check out something posted.

DBPro was doing that to me when I first installed it too.
It'd run the pre-made stuff but not my new stuff.
I figured out that it gets in arguments with Avast Antivirus.
I uninstalled Avast and it started running my programs.

Do you have Avast installed?
