the folder if you didnt install DB anywhere else will be

- Dark Basic Software - Dark Basic Professional

and the keywords files are found here

Dark Basic Software\Dark Basic Professional\Editor\Keywords

what ever the case this holds the keywords files that makes things blue.

If you havent updated your editor or something has gone quirky with the installation procedure then just reinstall or update your editor.

I had an issue like this when trying to get the keywords to work for ROBks BLUE interface, I had not updated my editor and I just reinstalled in case as well.

DBP has a neat repair feature as well as a neat add remove programs screen in case this happens.

Remember to back up your work before hand if you keep stuff inside the installed folders.

I have tried reinstalling but to no effect. Would you email me a copy of the Keywords.ini?

Well now I am really confused, I reinstalled and upgraded the editor to the latest version with no effect, I switched the file you posted also with no effect.
This all started after I installed the

Windows Menus Plugin

Any Ideas Rob

It isn't anything to do with my plugin, just bugs in the editor. When you say "installing" my plugin, I presume you mean that you just copied the menus.ini file from the zip file into the Editor\Keywords folder?

There is another keywords file in Editor\FrontEnd (keywords.ini) - which contains some keywords such as global.

Copy that to the Editor\Keywords folder and it should work correctly. Also you need the latest version of the editor (1.0.9.2), earlier versions do not scan the Editor\Keywords folder (stupid I know).

I copied the Keywords file from the \Frontend and the commands were again highlighted.

Thanks Rob K.

p.s. What would it take to add the "MOD" command to keywords?

Close the editor, open up any of the keywords files in the Editor\Keywords folder, add the following line to the bottom of the file

MOD=NO HELP={Insert parameter help here}

Save the keywords file and reload the editor.
