Hallo everybody!
I'm a newcomer in this forum but it's been a long time that I'm interested in DB and DBP.
I'm a .NET pro developer with Visual Studio 2008 Professional C++ installed on my PC ... i've read previous posts and FAQs on how to install DarkGDK using C++ Compiler and Framework 3.5 but seems that I miss something:
when I try to install DGDK ("Dark GDK - 161107.exe") a message box appears: "Dark GDK relies on Microsoft's Visual C++ Compiler - this has not been detected on your computer. Do you want to install the compiler before proceeding?".
I'm sure that I have the Visual C++ compiler and I ran it before to compile some applications.
Informations about the C++ Compiler on my copy of VS2008Pro are (sorry, I paste them from my VS2008Pro informations box and the're in italian language; even sorry for my poor english ):

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated, thanx
Hassan

I continue with the installation over the problem, i've installed DarkGDK_Update_NOV08 and DarkGDK_Update_OCT10 but when I'm on Visual Studio 2008 and I try to create a new project the selecion "Wizards" with the DGDK options for new projects doesn't exists.
In the installation PDF the give me the link for the compiler: "Microsoft’s Visual C++ 2008 compiler can be freely downloaded from
www.microsoft.com/express/vc." and I've downloaded and installed it ...

I'm thinking that the prbolem could be the version of my copy of VS2008, a "Professional" instead of "Express". Is it possible?
